Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. She began her career in the field of real estate following her graduation from college. Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa, and Tarek El Moussa, lost nearly everything because of the 2008 stock market collapse. They went from living in an apartment that cost $6000 per month, and then a house that cost $700 per month. They gradually rebuilt their business as well as the economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV video audition in 2011. The video showed Tarek and Christina working together to turn the house. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. They signed an official HGTV agreement in 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, In seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. Christina and Tarek bought houses in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. Then they spent a few months renovating their home so that they can flip the property for profit. Tarek is more focused on renovating as well as demolition, while Christina is responsible for design.
